I opened my first camera on my twelfth birthday. It was lime green and I was ecstatic. I took it to school every day. I created photoshoots on the weekend with my friends. I signed up for as many free Photoshop trials as I could.
Thus began my love affair with all things photography.
I have since graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography. I love shooting film and digital, people and places, food and goods. I’ve developed a love of working with small shops and businesses, helping them create a brand through carefully styled and photographed images. When I don’t have a camera in my hand I’m reading, watching Chef’s Table, or snuggling with my rabbit Reggie and graphic designer husband.
Future plans include educating the world about the importance of cheap pizza.
