On my twelfth birthday I was gifted my first camera. It was lime green and I was ecstatic. I took it to school every day. I created photoshoots on the weekend with my friends. I signed up for as many free Photoshop trials as I could.
Thus began my love affair with all things photography.
I have since graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography. I love shooting film and digital, people and places, food and goods. I’ve recently developed a love of working with small shops and businesses, helping them create a brand through carefully styled and photographed images. When I don’t have a camera in my hand I’m reading, watching Chef’s Table, or cuddling with my hedgehog and graphic designer husband.
Future plans include educating the world about the importance of cheap pizza.
